2nd April 2016: A weekly Anapana meditation (Breath in and Breath out) was started by the school Principal, Mr. Karma Sherap Therchin la after seeing the importance of controlling our monkey mind especially among the learners. In this fast forward world, a calm and serene mind is indispensable for everybody particularly the students. Anapana meditation is simple where one has to focus on the breathing in and breathing out.

Every Friday, both the teachers and students do 10 minutes Anapana meditation to start the day. They do the meditation with the help of a soft soothing sound in the background. So far two successful sessions were done and the quality of the meditation was improving each time.

Recently, Mr. Praveen from Deer park, Bir was invited to the school. He conducted a small session for the staff members on Anapana and threw more lights on why, how and when this meditation was to be carried out.
